Meet Shannon Gales

Digging in her mother's box of fabric scraps and begging to tear them apart, she began a life long obsession with textiles and explored their relationship to the human form. Now, 25 years later, fabrics, details, and color have changed, but the process has stayed the same. While exploring various media during her studies at Calvin College, the underlying reference to fabric was always apparent. Inevitably, manipulation of the specific media she worked with, to portray the characteristics of fabric always seemed to be the end result.

The same passion and investigation fuels the design for her brides. Each and every bride receives an one-on-one consultation to determine desires and a design that reflects their unique person. The connection, which is both emotional and physical, is essential in a complete design.

At Vue Design, a bride will experience a unique process, no matter where they are located, beginning with our first conversation. Shannon's experience over the years has allowed her to develop a relationship with each of her brides, creating not only an amazing dress in the end, but a special experience for the bride.
